Good place to stay, lovely hotel and town, good food

Food was excellent and proprietor worked hard at service. Room was on one level, easy to access from garage and very comfortable.

Would have liked bathroom dorr to close - it jammed open a good bit on floor tiles. Would have liked shower to be set up as impossible to try and do this due to size of enormous bath and small statured occupant.

A lovely night's stay

Very pretty hotel, (not the easiest to find - there are a couple of roads closed in the town centre). Room not huge, but perfectly adequate - nice bathroom. Excellent dinner and good breakfast. Host very friendly, though limited English. We would certainly stay again.

Exceptional

Lovely hotel with lots of character. Outstanding staff going that extra mile. Reception and the waiting staff were absolutely note worthy.

The slightest moan. The key ring was a bit loose yep that's all I can moan about.

Clean room, looking directly to the restaurant/garden, so it was a bit loud during the evening.

The accommodation has served its purpose. I was travelling from south to north and it was somewhere half way of my destination so the location was great. The restaurant within the hotel was nice. The parking garage was good and locked during the night. The room was very clean.

My room was on ground floor with windows towards a side street (on ground), so there was no view. The room was a bit dark, due to its position to the street. It was quite loud from the outside with one of the guests trying to enter my room very loudly (probably thinking it is a toilet).
